If the stars would fall in the morning,
and the sun would shine at night.
If the rivers flow up-stream,
and the oceans turn sweet.
If the moon sleeps at night,
and wakes up in the morning light,
I’ll be loving you.
Impossible as it may seem,
My love for you will remain real.
Even if the fire turns cold,
My love for you will remain forever.
Hold me close,
and never let me go.
I promise forever, I will remain true,
and show you, just how much i love you.
this, i think, was meant for someone’s eyes only. it would be sweet for that person. however, you’re using cliches, man. “fire turns cold.” and others. there must be some other way of saying something that poets have been saying the last thousand years.
Hmmm… mahilig ka pala sa freeverse… ang daming freeverse sa poems mo. Also, kitang-kita ang romanticism na semi-modernized sa mga tula… And all the poems seem to hint at someone in particular… badass yes, but lacking in variety as commentor before me said. partly because love is kinda OLD and cliche, even for romanticism nowadays. Nature without the love theme sounds nice currently but I suggest you drop the current theme or see it from somewhere else other than YOUR eyes. Try the aggressive approach or basta something new~ remember… being a poet/writer/essayist is simply trying to sell people “bullshit”. Ergo, pull them in with your words before they realize that it’s all BULL… make it too late for them to say no anymore and turn away from what you’ve written. In other words, make them empathize or love the idea so much that they’ll buy into it without hesitation!
Take a new perspective Sir Leo, and then we’ll hear the lion ROAR!
